Why resell ticket(s) or buy resale ticket(s) at Ticketmaster?

As an official ticket seller, selected by the organization of the event, we can guarantee the safety and reliability of the resale process. We offer a safe environment for both the event organization and the buyer of tickets.

The resale ticket receives a new barcode and the original barcode is invalidated. No more hassle at the entrance gate, the legitimate ticket holder has guaranteed access.

Reselling tickets

How can I resell my tickets via Ticketmaster? Are there any restrictions?

If you have bought tickets via Ticketmaster Czechia for an event that you can no longer go to yourself, you can sell your ticket(s) to another fan. You can only resell tickets that are in your Ticketmaster account, so that we can verify the validity of the ticket.

In your account, go to the tickets of your upcoming events. In your online account, you will see either a 'Sell' button or a 'Resale Unavailable' button, depending on whether you can resell your tickets. If you go to your account in the Ticketmaster app, you will find these respective buttons behind the '+' icon.

There are several reasons why reselling your tickets is not (yet) possible:

• Reselling is not yet technically possible for some types of tickets.
• Personalised tickets (tickets by name) cannot be offered for resale.
• If you live in a country that is currently not supported by our payment provider, it is unfortunately not possible yet to resell your tickets via Ticketmaster. We are working hard to add more countries.
• In addition, the organiser or arist can choose to disable resale per event.
• If you bought your tickets via our resale platform, it is not possible to offer them for resale again.
• If you received your tickets via "Ticket Transfer", it is also not possible to resell them.
• Resale is only activated one hour after the regular start of ticket sales. If you bought tickets during a presale, these tickets can only be displayed as resale tickets in the ticket listing one hour after the regular start of ticket sales.
• It is also not possible to resell tickets if you are a minor. If you want to resell a ticket and you are under 18, please enter the details of your parent or guardian.

It is also only possible to resell your tickets until a maximum of 8 hours before the event (there are exceptions where the resale closes earlier).

From when / until when can I sell my tickets?

In most cases, sales through our resale service start 1 hour after the general onsale date/time of the event and end 8 hours before the event starts. However, according to the instructions of the organiser or artist there may be exceptions (e.g. reselling can be closed earlier or started later)..

When the resale closes, any tickets still on offer (not sold) will be removed from the resale and returned to the seller's account.

Are there any costs associated with reselling tickets?

No. The new price you ask for the ticket you want to resell via our platform will be paid in full to the bank account number or PayPal account you provided us.

However, if you choose to be paid in a currency other than the Czech crown, the currency exchange fee effective at the time of payment will apply.

Why can't I resell my extra item (parking ticket/VIP experience ticket, etc.)?

Currently, only event tickets can be resold. Additional items purchased with an event ticket (upselling items) cannot be offered. However, we are continuously developing our platform and would like to enable the resale of additional items in the future.

Can I resell a resale ticket?

If you have purchased a ticket via our resale platform, it is not possible to offer it for sale again via our resale platform.

Can I sell tickets that I didn't buy with Ticketmaster?

No, you can only resell tickets which have been purchased with Ticketmaster and which are in your Ticketmaster account.

Please note: Only tickets that you have bought yourself can be resold. It is not possible to resell a ticket that you have received via "Ticket Transfer". Tickets can only be resold from the original order, by the original buyer.

I order a ticket by post, can I resell it?

No, only e-tickets and mobile tickets can be resold via our platform.

Can I sell tickets if I don't live in Czechia or can't accept Czech crown on my account?

If you do not live in the Czech Republic or have an account that cannot accept Czech crown, you can select the country and currency in which you would like to be paid. The list of available countries and currencies will be displayed when you set up or edit your chosen payout method.

Please note that a currency exchange fee will apply if the event currency (CZK) differs from your chosen payout currency.

What price can I charge for my ticket?

You can increase the price of the purchased ticket by max. 100% of its value. However, the possibility to increase the price of the ticket can be changed by the organiser or the artist in the range of 0-99%. The minimum price for which you can offer a ticket is 1 Czk.

If you have purchased additional products or services on top of the ticket, then these can't be resold or be included in the price.

How and when will I get paid for my sold tickets?

In order for your payment to be processed, we need you to provide us with a valid bank account number or a PayPal account. We will process your payment within 10 business days of the event. Please allow another few business days for the amount to be transferred from our Hyperwallet payment platform to your bank or PayPal account.

What happens if my tickets are not sold?

Tickets can usually be sold up to eight hours before the event. After this time they will be removed from our resale platform.
Any tickets that have not been sold will remain in your possession and you will be able to use them as you see fit.

What happens after the tickets are sold?

As soon as your tickets have been sold, we will inform you by e-mail. We will deactivate your original tickets and forward new tickets to the person who bought them. You don't have to do anything else.

How can I update my payment information?

Go to "My Profile" & "Seller Details" and enter the new bank account details.
Keep in mind that your name and address must match the bank account information you provide.

Why am I being asked to verify who I am?

Hyperwallet, our payment platform, can ask you to provide further details to verify your identity. This additional verification process helps us prevent fraud.

How can I cancel the resale of my tickets?

If your tickets have not yet been sold, you can simply click the "Cancel listing" button. This button can be found under your tickets in your account.

Tickets that have already been sold can no longer be cancelled.

Can I change my listing or set a new price for the tickets listed?

Yes, if the tickets have not yet been sold, it is possible to change the listing or the price of the tickets being listed. You must first cancel the original listing and re-list the tickets with the new parameters.

Buying tickets from another fan

How do I buy tickets from another fan?

This symbol means that a ticket is sold by another fan. Buying such a ticket works exactly the same as buying a "standard" ticket on our site. All tickets are verified by us. The ticket and seat number you reserve is also the ticket you receive. We therefore guarantee your access with this ticket.

Because the availability of these tickets depends on the offer of other fans, it can change constantly. Are there no tickets available now? Please check this again later, perhaps tickets will be offered later.

My plans have changed, can my tickets be refunded or exchanged?

Unfortunately, unless an event is cancelled, resale tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged.

Why is there a price difference between the blue and pink dots on a seat map?

Pink dots are resale tickets, which, in other words, are offered for resale by fans. Since these fans can determine a new price themselves, it may happen that the price differs from other resale tickets or from regular tickets.

Blue dots are regular, primary tickets. These tickets have a fixed price, by the event organization.

It is also possible that platinum tickets (dynamically priced tickets) will be on offer under the blue dots. Yellow dots indicate VIP tickets or VIP packages. These types of tickets are also priced differently than regular or resale tickets.

Why can I only buy a certain number of tickets?

You buy tickets from another fan on our resale platform. Their offer includes a certain number of tickets. You can only purchase tickets from one fan in one transaction. If multiple fans offer tickets for an event, you must select the offer that matches the number of tickets you want or purchase tickets from multiple fans in multiple orders.

How long does it take to receive my ticket purchased from another fan?

You will usually receive your ticket a few minutes after you pay. The ticket will appear in your account in the "My Upcoming Events" section. However, sometimes delivery can take longer, so if you bought your resale ticket less than 8 hours ago and don't have it yet, wait a little longer, you'll probably get your ticket soon.

Why does ticketmaster charge a service fee?

Ticketmaster does not set the price of resale tickets. This is the exclusive right of the fan offering the ticket. In addition, Ticketmaster charges a service fee to cover the costs of operating the resale platform, such as security technology, customer service, payment provider fees, etc. This revenue allows us to provide the best possible ticket ordering and event access experience.
