Více

Accept je německá heavymetalová hudební skupina z města Solingen. Skupina vznikla na počátku sedmdesátých let dvacátého století a jejím zakladatelem je Udo Dirkschneider, který svým jedinečným hlasem profiloval skupinu.

Kapela hrála velmi důležitou roli ve vývoji speed metalu a power metalu. V roce 2005 skupina ukončila svoji činnost, následně ji ovšem v roce 2010 s novými členy obnovili kytarista Wolf Hoffmann a baskytarista Peter Baltes.

Mezi nejúspěšnější alba patří Balls to the Wall, Restless and Wild a Metal Heart. Největšími hity kapely jsou Balls to the Wall, Metal Heart, Princess Of The Dawn a Fast as a Shark (Udo Dirkschneider era) nebo například Teutonic Terror (Mark Tornillo era).
