Venue Details
Forum Karlín
Forum Karlín is one of the most modern multipurpose concert halls in Prague. Offering outstanding acoustics, the venue is located in the heart of the Karlín district, near the city center. The complex includes a multipurpose hall with a capacity of 3,000 visitors, which provides a flexible setting for a variety of social, entertainment, and educational events.
Designed in partnership with Spanish architect Ricardo Bofill, the construction of the facility began in 2011. The Forum consists of two buildings – a sensitively renovated former manufacturing plant from the First Republic era, which has been the head office of the Economia Publishing Company since 2013, and a modern building, which houses the multipurpose concert hall. The concert hall was opened in June 2014.
Forum Karlín has three floors. The top two feature a foyer and a gallery, while the bottom houses a foyer and the main room. The facility has a capacity of 2,000 and 3,000 seated and standing visitors, respectively. The concert hall, which can also be used as a ballroom or conference hall, offers an abundance of amenities and checkrooms. The complex has barrier-free access on all floors.
